This descriptive-correlational study determined the organizational climate and faculty performance and their influence in instruction goal attainment of JBLCF. The study was conducted using the data-gathering instruments entitled “Organizational Climate Questionnaire,” which was adapted from Porras (2004) but modified by the researcher, and “Faculty Appraisal for Quality Research Output and Community Extension Questionnaires.” The participants of the present study were 117 randomly selected faculty members of the three academic units of JBLCF namely; JBLCF-Arevalo, JBLCF-Molo, and JBLCF-Bacolod. The independent variables were the organizational climate and faculty performance. Three academic units were the antecedent variables while instructional goal attainment was the dependent variable. Mean, frequency count, and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistics and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Pearson’s r for inferential analysis.
Level of significance was set at .05 alpha for two-tailed tests. The findings revealed that the organizational climate of JBLCF was generally “favorable.” The teaching performance of JBLCF faculty was perceived as “very satisfactory,” and the instructional goal attainment as “very satisfactory.” Significant difference existed between the organizational climate and faculty performance. Significant correlation existed among instructional goals attainment, organizational climate, and teaching performance at JBLCF. Negative and significant correlation was observed between instructional goal attainment and organizational climate among academic units of JBLCF system.
