This study utilized the descriptive quantitative approach to assess the human needs of employees from the four (4) selected Government Financial Institutions (GFIs). Human needs were categorized into three areas such as existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs. Data were gathered through a researcher-made survey questionnaire conducted among randomly selected employees of the participating GFIs. The results of the survey showed that the human needs of the employees were perceived as “Much Metâ€. As per the employees’ responses, meeting their human needs would depend on both internal and external factors while growth needs and existence needs were perceived by the employees as dependent on external factors like the thrusts and priorities of their employers. On the contrary, their relatedness needs were primarily contingent on internal factors like their own initiatives. The employees found themselves good at creating opportunities to address their social needs.
