UNMANNED LAWNMOWER

Abstract:

This study aimed to create an unmanned lawnmower which can automatically cut grasses to avoid human injury and to help alleviate the condition of people who are allergic to grass. This study also aimed to include an obstacle detection unit so that collision won’t happen in the process of cutting grass. The machine was composed of two DC motors, ultrasonic sensor, servo motor, batteries, solar panels and GSM module. The study employed experimental method and descriptive method of research to produce the essential data. The result of the evaluation confirmed that the device was functional. The evaluators were interested on the idea to automatically cut the grasses with no hassle.
