Born on September 12, 1982 inside a prison cell in Iloilo City, Kip Oebanda grew up seeing only the jarred walls where his mother, Ma. Cecilia Flores-Oebanda, was detained as a political prisoner under the Marcos regime. For four years, Kip spent his childhood trying to live a normal life in prison which he innocently thought was his home.
