INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES AS CORRELATES TO SCHOOL CLIMATE AND STUDENT PERFORMANCE

Abstract:

LCC Silvercrest School is located at the heart of the City of Lipa that offers a curriculum that is built on character development and enriching experiences that are anchored on the best practices to provide rich learning environment that sustain natural curiosity supported by the development of positive values. This paper investigated the performance of the students in the National Achievement Test during the past two school years and evaluated the significant relationship between teacher’s use of instructional strategies and NAT performance as well as the School Climate. With these, an action plan was prepared as basis for improvement. The method applied and utilized was the Descriptive research method for this study because it aims to describe an existing phenomenon and its associations or relationships between things. Descriptive studies, in which the researcher interacts with the participant, may involve surveys or interviews to collect the necessary information.
