Chemistry is an abstract and mathematical subject in the STEM curriculum that requires higher order thinking skills. Since most students nowadays are becoming more reliant to teachers’ strategies and internet, it is timely to consider maximum utilization of the internet to increase students’ performance in Chemistry, especially on difficult topics like Stoichiometry. This study was conducted to enhance senior high school STEM students’ conceptual understanding of Stoichiometry through utilization of e-links. Two intact STEM classes enrolled in first semester, S.Y. 2019-2020 were purposely selected as control and experimental groups. A validated 30-item pre-posttest was administered to both classes. The experimental group, during the allotted period, was given ICT materials on Stoichiometry incorporated with electronic links that students could utilize to answer tasks, while the control group was given a regular instruction. Structured interviews were also conducted to determine the students’ views of teachers’ use of e-links. Results revealed the effective use of e-links as reflected by the significantly improved performance of the experimental group. The use of e-links is viewed by the students as a huge help as it provides more opportunities for learning. The researcher recommends modification of or deviation from the subject curriculum guide by way of including electronic links as additional learning resources or using the strategy in addition to what most teachers are using, as well as similar studies to explore other difficult topics in General Chemistry and in other sciences in the curriculum involving students across levels and strands.
