Abstract:

This research determined the emotion regulation and the level of acceptance of the Grade 12 students of Letran Calamba towards 3 in 1 intervention. The researchers applied descriptive research design with purely quantitative approach. The results of the analysis showed that the Grade 12 students exercise more positive strategy in emotion regulation, which is the cognitive reappraisal, and posed positive connotation with regards to their level of acceptance on the 3 in 1 intervention. With regards to the difference between the students who use cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression, the researchers found significant difference between their General Weighted Average on the second quarter of the Academic Year 2017-2018. Thus, it was concluded that the 3 in 1 intervention affected the GWA of the students. As part of the recommendations, future researchers may continue the present study by including the third and fourth quarter grading periods so as to determine the consistency of the results.
