Adapting to a VUCA World (A Synthesis)

Abstract:

The COVID-19 Pandemic made it more obvious that there is a need to equip everyone to filter out which online information is legitimate. Siar (2022) reported that with about 67% internet usage and social media use, by May 25, 2020 Philippines was one of the top 4 Southeast Asian countries where Fake News and Information regarding its spread. On top of all fake news on COVID-19 was information regarding its symptoms, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment measures.
