Abstract:

The purpose of the study was to determine the online learning readiness of graduating pre-service teachers. The respondents of the study consisted of 50 (9 males and 41 females) graduating preservice teachers of Notre Dame of Midsayap College, College of Education. Online Learning Readiness Scale (OLRS) modified questionnaire was used to collect the data. Through Google form online survey, the questionnaire was sent through FB messenger. After this, the data were gathered, collected, and processed through applying statistical treatments that include Frequency counts, Mean and Standard Deviation, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and t-test. Pre-service teachers were found ready for online learning in the new normal with overall readiness mean score of 4.40. This study found that there is no significant difference in the online learning readiness of graduating pre-service teachers when they are grouped according to age and course and major, however, there is a significant difference when they are grouped according to sex. It implies that males are more ready in online learning than females.
