Abstract:

The Philippine educational system slightly changes in terms of teaching and learning delivery mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Enhanced adaptive learning materials (ALMs) were implemented in Region BARMM to provide learners with equal access to quality basic education through a home-based environment. This study aimed to examine the application of enhanced adaptive learning materials to the selected Bangsamoro students. A descriptive survey research design was utilized in this study which it was administered to 60 randomly selected Bangsamoro students from ARMM Regional Science High School. The results appeared that the Bangsamoro students partially agreed with the students’ experience, tutor support, and module quality with a mean of 3.22, 3.18, and 3.39, respectively. Also, it has an overall mean of 3.26 which also denotes partially agree. In conclusion, the assessment on the application of enhanced adaptive learning materials (ALM) has shown that the materials partially agreed with the Bangsamoro students that they understood and interrelated the discussions on the module to its assessed tasks which led them to have satisfying student experience. Also, their tutor who is mostly a relative or family member encourages them in their study which shown that they have a good tutor support system. In the module itself, they have received sufficient advice and guidance concerning their module which indicated that they are satisfied with the quality of the module or ALMs. Overall, the assessment has shown that the ALM has been successful in helping the student to have a good learning experience, sufficient tutor support, and satisfaction with module quality.
