Virtual Learning Packet in Pattern Drafting and Designing for Garments, Fashion and Design Students

Abstract:

This study attempted to create and evaluate a virtual learning packet in Pattern Drafting and Designing for Garments, Fashion, and Design Students of the Marikina Polytechnic College during the Second Semester of the academic year 2022-2023.Descriptive method of research was used in this study. The developed virtual learning packets in Pattern Drafting and Designing were evaluated by seven (7) faculty of Garments, Fashion, and Design, ten (10) Garments, Fashion, and Design graduates with Trainers’ Methodology as experts, and thirty (30) graduating BIT and BTVTED GFD students. Based on the findings, the computed overall weighted means for the evaluation of the faculty, experts, and students were 4.73, 4.67, and 4.81, respectively which were all interpreted as Strongly Agree with respect to content, structure, instructional design, and technical design. The respondents commended the developed material as it is creative, easy to understand, and has good presentation that catches the learner’s attention. Meanwhile, it was suggested that the material should be further enhanced by making the markings and points visible.
