Pantayong Pananaw Bilang Dulog sa Teolohiyang Pilipino

Abstract:

Matagal na panahong nangibabaw ang kolonyal at elitistang teolohiya sa Pilipinas. Ito ang teolohiya na Kanluranin kaya malayo sa reyalidad ng lipunang Pilipino, at nasa Ingles kaya hindi nauunawaan ng bayan. Dahil dito, malaking bahagi ng teolohiya bilang disiplina ang nanatiling walang saysay sa kontekstong Pilipino. Isa sa mga instrumentong maaaring maging lunas sa suliraning ito ay ang paggamit ng Pantayong Pananaw bilang dulog. Sa pamamagitan ng Pantayong Pananaw, mapapagyaman ng Teolohiyang Pilipino ang maraming aspekto nito bilang isang kilusang Pilipinisasyon. Ilan sa mga aspektong ito ay ang paglalapat ng mga panloob na dalumat, paggamit ng wikang Filipino, pagsasalin, at eksposisyon ng kaisipan ng mga Pilipinong teologo. Ang pagpapayabong ng mga aspektong ito ay malaking hakbang tungo sa pagbuo ng isang Teolohiyang Pilipinong tunay na may saysay sa lipunang Pilipino.
