Abstract:

This feasibility study was conducted to determine the feasibility of establishing meat shop with drive thru feature which is primarily engaged in the merchandising of chicken, pork, beef, and frozen food such as hotdog, skinless, ham, bologna, and other processed food products. This study used 397 households which were selected as the respondents of the study. Exploratory and descriptive designs were utilized with survey questionnaires, informal interviews, and access to legitimate documents and reports as the data-gathering tools to collect data that answered the study's objectives. Using descriptive statistical tools, financial ratios, and content analysis, the results of the analysis revealed that the business would be venturing in merchandising of meats and frozen food in Lucena City as its plant site, with households in the middle-income class in Lucena City as its target market is feasible. This is evident in the findings of the market study, technical study, management study, financial study, and socio-economic study.
