Claro Abstract Learning is a continuous process, and age should not hinder getting an education. This study explored the lived experiences of over-aged Junior High School completers under the Open High School Program (OHSP) for School Year 2021- 2022 in the Schools Division Office of Camarines Norte. A total of 7 informants, whose ages range from 24 to 51 years old, were purposively selected from 5 out of 9 public secondary schools that offer the program. Among the categories of qualitative research, this study particularly used phenomenology as its methodology and research design. The editing analysis style by Crabtree & Miller in 1999 was employed to examine and analyze data. This investigation captured and highlighted 7 themes, namely: (1) Reasons for Choosing OHSP, (2) Challenges & Hindrances in Studying, (3) the Support System in OHSP, (4) Learning Environment, (5) Inspiration & Perception of Educational Success, (6) Future Plans after OHSP Completion and (7) Life's Realizations and Advice to Over-aged Learners. All these themes have boiled down into one common desire of overaged completers - to live their dreams with gratitude because they believe that their destiny of a brighter future is through education.
