Perception on the Usage of EBook Learning Tool Among Medical Technology Students of Universidad De Zamboanga

Abstract:

This study was conducted to determine the perception on the usage of E-book learning tool among medical technology students. It specifically answered the following questions: 1. What is the perception on the usage of e-books among the respondents in terms of advantage, problems encountered and effectiveness 2. What is the frequency of utilizing e-books in terms of source and gadget used. Mean was used to determine the perception on the usage of e-books among the respondents in terms of advantage, problems encountered and effectiveness. Frequency and percentage were used to determine the utilization of e-books in terms of source and gadget used. A Descriptive – Quantitative research design was used. The total number of respondents were 100 and the information was gathered by emailing online Google forms to their UZ email accounts. The result shows that the level of usage of e-book learning tools among respondents in terms of advantage is high while the respondents' level of usage of e-book learning tools in terms of problems encountered, the respondents sometimes encountered into problems. The result also shows that the level of effectiveness of E-book among medical technology students is at a high level. The findings of this study also show there is a significant effect in the usage of e-book learning tools among respondents in terms of purpose and problem encountered and there is a significant difference in the level of effectiveness of e-book learning methods among students of Medical Technology when grouped according to their profile.
