The general objective of the study is to develop a storybook as an additional tool for teaching information literacy to the beneficiaries of the College of Education’s Community Extension Service. The storybook was developed based on the information literacy needs and skills of the kids ages 3-5 and evaluated by randomly selected preschool teachers. This research employed the R & D or research and development method and used the ADDIE model for instructional design to provide better results. The developed stories were based on basic information literacy, such as learning how to identify, locate, use, and evaluate information intended for preschoolers. The researchers patterned the story on the six steps of the Big6 model of information literacy, such as task definition, information-seeking strategy, location and access, use of information, synthesis, and evaluation. The stories were evaluated by the preschool teachers in Lucena City based on their usability and acceptability through a questionnaire. Most of the respondents strongly agreed that the developed storybook passed on the criteria of its usability and acceptability. The researchers recommended to implement the proposed storybook for further evaluation.
