Academic Standard, Ethical And Effective Integration Of GenerativeArtificial Intelligence (Ai) In Marikina Polytechnic College

Abstract:

This policy brief intends to address the issues on Generative AI by outlining a decision-making foundation for incorporating AI technologies into education. Academics feel that ChatGPT will be useful as a tool in scientific research and educational procedures (Livberber & Ayvaz, 2023). It is critical that teachers make educated decisions about whether to employ or reject generative AI technologies and their results in student work. The goal is to concentrate on the total benefit of students, their learning experiences, and their preparation for the changing terrain of the future. While for Davison et al. (2003), Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools have the potential to be useful research helpers. They can help in developing competence with study areas, assimilating information available, analyzing data, and translating material, while errors are possible. These technologies, which are especially useful for non-native language users, help to promote diversity and inclusivity in academic areas. AI technologies may be assistance to authors in improving revision notes and offering thorough explanations in response to reviewer comments.
