Abstract:
The researchers aimed to determine the learning style and academic performance of Radiologic Technology students. Specifically, the researchers aimed to determine the learning style and Academic Performance of Radiologic Technology Students and the students will become aware with their learning style which allow them to execute better studying habits thus resulting to better academic performance. In addition, it aimed to describe the significant difference in the learning style of the respondents when their profile was considered and the significant correlation between the learning style and academic performance of the respondents. The researchers used a descriptive correlational design that aimed to provide static pictures of situations as well as established the relationship between different variables. The respondents of the study were the 1st, 2nd and 3rd yr level of Radiologic Technology students enrolled in school year 2022-2023 of Universidad de Zamboanga. To determine the sample size, 50 respondents per year level were chosen, a total of 150 respondents. Following statistical treatment in the analysis and interpretation were used on data gathering from the respondents: Frequency, Percentage and Mean were used to determine the learning style and academic performance of the respondents. T-test and one-way Anova were used to determine the significant difference in the learning style of the respondents when their profile was considered. Pearson Product Moment Correlation were used to determine the significant relationship between the learning style of the respondents and their academic performance.
