Study Habits and Academic Performance of Education Students in Isabela State University Echague Campus

Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the study habits and the academic performance of BEED students of Isabela State University-Echague Campus. The respondents were 78 Fourth-Year students of the Bachelor of Elementary Education who were enrolled during the First and Second Semesters of the School Year 2021-2022. The data were gathered using the survey research design. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the academic performance and the study habits of the respondents concerning a spacious room with good ventilation and other equipment such as chairs and table, studying with no distractions in the surroundings, social media, and environment, and study techniques like taking down notes in own words, highlighting important words, studying up to 3 hours, having a study time table, and studying with friends but less verbal.
