Abstract:

The ever growing importance of Japan as an economic partner of the Philippines has recently been assuming a political character in the light of international developments, The pressures on Japan to contribute her share in securing the Far East and the Pacific, in the light of the increasing presence of the Soviet Union in the region, are worth analyzing, if we are to look into the future of Philippine-Japanese trade relations.
