Hindi mapaghihiwalay ang wika at kultura. Layon ng papel na ito na mailahad ang kaugnayan ng wika at kultura sa pagtuturo at pagkatuto ng pangalawang wika partikular ang wikang Filipino. Tatalakayin ng papel na ito ang paniniwala ng guro sa pagtuturo, ang paniniwala, layon at saloobin ng mag-aaral na makaaapekto sa estilo ng kanilang pagkatuto, at ang asimilasyon ng kultura sa pag-aaral ng pangalawang wika sa pamamagitan ng imersyon. Sa pangkalahatan, nakabuo ng kongklusyon kung paano mabilis at epektibong natututo ng wikang Filipino ang mga mag-aaral bilang pangalawang wika kalakip ang asimilasyon ng kulturang Filipino na ibinatay sa kaganapan sa programang FLACIPS.

Language and culture cannot be separated from each other. This paper aims to deal with the relationship between culture and language with that of learning a second language (particularly the Filipino language), the teacher’s personal beliefs about teaching and learning, the learners’ beliefs, goals, and attitudes that would affect their learning, and the learner’s assimilation of culture through immersion. As a whole, this paper aims to arrive at a conclusion as to how appropriately one can simultaneously and effectively go through the process of learning the Filipino language and culture. In general, a conclusion will be made on how the learner learns the Filipino culture and language at a much faster pace based on the FLACIPS program.
