Impact Of External Faculty Development Training Program On Teaching Effectiveness

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to find out the impact of external training in various areas on teaching effectiveness. The descriptive research was used in this study.

To process data, statistical approach was used to measure the impact of external training on faculty members of TIP-QC. Faculty performance evaluation was checked with strict observance of confidentially as well as the external trainings they have attended.

Majority of the tenured faculty are female with three to fifteen years of teaching experience acquiring highest percentage in external trainings programs. Finding revealed that the faculty teaching performance improved from 92.03% to 93.17%. T-test results revealed that the external faculty training programs had a significant impact on teaching effectiveness.
