EDWIN ETIEYIBO, Ph.D.(University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg),teaches philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, School of Social Sciences, Universityof the Witwatersrand. He specializes in ethics, social and political philosophy, global justice, social contract theories, and history of philosophy. His research and teaching interests broadly include Descartes, epistemology, history of philosophy, early modern philosophy, applied ethics as well as African socio-political economy and philosophy.
